ಅಕ್ಷರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ | Letter to Number
ಪ್ರತಿ ಅಕ್ಷರವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಅಥವಾ ಆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಒಂದು ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬದಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. | Each letter is replaced by its position number or by some operation on that number.
ಉದಾಹರಣೆ | Example
CAB ಎಂಬುದು 312 ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಅಕ್ಷರ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. | If CAB becomes 312 then each letter is simply its position number.
ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ದ್ವಿಗುಣಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಅಥವಾ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. | In some questions the position number is doubled or has one added to it.
ಪದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ | Word to Number
ಇಡೀ ಪದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ನೀಡಿದಾಗ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಅದು ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಮೊತ್ತವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. | When a whole word is given one number it is usually the count of letters or the sum of their positions.
ಉದಾಹರಣೆ | Example
TEN ಎಂಬುದು 3 ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳ ಎಣಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪದದ ಅರ್ಥವಲ್ಲ. | If TEN becomes 3 then it is the count of letters and not the meaning of the word.
ಪದದ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಲೆ. | Reading the meaning of the word is the biggest trap here.
ಸಬ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಶನ್ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ | Substitution Coding
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಪದಗಳಿಂದ ಬದಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಕೆಂಪು ಎಂದರೆ ಹಸಿರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಎಂದರೆ ನೀಲಿ. | Here words are replaced by other words, for example red means green and green means blue.
ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವಾಗ ವಾಸ್ತವವನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು. | To answer, forget reality and follow only the substitution given.
ಉದಾಹರಣೆ | Example
ಹಾಲು ಎಂದರೆ ನೀರು ಮತ್ತು ನೀರು ಎಂದರೆ ಗಾಳಿ ಎಂದಾದರೆ, ನಾವು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಳಿ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. | If milk means water and water means air, then what we drink is called air in their language.
ಪದಕ್ಕೆ ಪದ ಹೊಂದಿಸುವ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ | Word-to-word Matching
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಕೇತ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಒಂದು ಪದದ ಸಂಕೇತವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. | Here a few coded sentences are given and the code for one word is asked.
ವಿಧಾನ ಸರಳ, ಅಂದರೆ ಎರಡು ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಪದ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಂಕೇತ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತವೆ. | The method is simple: the word common to two sentences matches the code common to them.
ಉದಾಹರಣೆ | Example
ಒಂದನೇ ವಾಕ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ good boy ಗೆ ಸಂಕೇತ la pa ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡನೆಯದರಲ್ಲಿ good girl ಗೆ la ta ಎಂದಾದರೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪದ good ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಂಕೇತ la. | If good boy is coded la pa and good girl is coded la ta, then the common word is good and the common code is la.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ good ಎಂದರೆ la ಮತ್ತು ಉಳಿದ ಸಂಕೇತಗಳನ್ನು ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಬೇರ್ಪಡಿಸಬಹುದು. | So good is la and the remaining codes can be separated the same way.
ಮುಖ್ಯಾಂಶ | Key point
ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕೇತಗಳ ಕ್ರಮ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪದಗಳ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. | In this type the order of the codes usually does not follow the order of the words.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿಸಬಾರದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪದದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊಂದಿಸಬೇಕು. | So never match by position and always match by the common word.
ಷರತ್ತುಬದ್ಧ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ | Conditional Coding
ಕೆಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದೆರಡು ಷರತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. | Some questions give a table along with one or two conditions.
ಮೊದಲು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ನಿಯಮದಂತೆ ಕೋಡ್ ಬರೆದು ನಂತರ ಷರತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸಿ. | Write the code by the general rule first and then apply the conditions in order.
ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಸಲಹೆ | Exam tip
ಷರತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲೇ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸಬೇಕು. | Conditions must be applied in the order given.
ಕ್ರಮ ಬದಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ತಪ್ಪು ಉತ್ತರವೇ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. | Changing the order changes the answer, and that wrong answer is among the options.
