ವೃತ್ತಾಕಾರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ | Circular Arrangement

ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತವರು ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿರಬಹುದು. | People in a circle may face the centre or face outwards.

ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರ ಎಡ ಗಡಿಯಾರದ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. | When everyone faces the centre, their left moves in the clockwise direction.

ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರ ಎಡ ಗಡಿಯಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. | When everyone faces outwards, their left moves in the anticlockwise direction.

ಮಿಶ್ರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಒಳಮುಖ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವರು ಹೊರಮುಖವಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. | In a mixed arrangement some face inwards and some outwards.

ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಮುಖದ ದಿಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಣದ ಗುರುತಿನಿಂದ ತೋರಿಸಿ. | In that case mark the facing direction of each person with an arrow on the diagram.

ಸೂತ್ರ | Formula

ಎದುರು ಸ್ಥಾನ = ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಜೊತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಅರ್ಧ | Opposite seat = current position plus half the total number of people

ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದರೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯಿರಿ. | If the result exceeds the total, subtract the total.

ಉದಾಹರಣೆ | Example

ಎಂಟು ಜನರ ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಎದುರು ಸ್ಥಾನ 3 ಜೊತೆ 4 ಅಂದರೆ ಏಳನೆಯದು. | In a circle of eight, the seat opposite the third is 3 plus 4, that is the seventh.

ಬೆಸ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. | With an odd number of people no one sits exactly opposite anyone.

ಚೌಕಾಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಆಯತಾಕಾರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ | Square and Rectangular Arrangements

  • ಮೂಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಮತ್ತು ಬದಿಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಕುಳಿತಿರಬಹುದು. | Four may sit at the corners and four at the middle of the sides.
  • ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತವರು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. | Those at the corners usually face the centre.
  • ಬದಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತವರು ಹೊರಗಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿರಬಹುದು. | Those at the middle of the sides may face outwards.
  • ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಅದನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಊಹಿಸಬೇಡಿ. | Follow exactly what the question says and do not assume.

ಉದಾಹರಣೆ | Example

ಆರು ಜನರು ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. | Six people sit in a circle facing the centre.

A ಎಂಬಾತ B ಯ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಎಡಕ್ಕೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಳಮುಖವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ A ಎಂಬಾತ B ಯಿಂದ ಗಡಿಯಾರದ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ. | If A is to the immediate left of B then, since all face inwards, A is one seat clockwise from B.

ಆರು ಜನರಿರುವುದರಿಂದ B ಯ ಎದುರಿನ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಮೂರು ಸ್ಥಾನ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. | Since there are six people, the seat opposite B is three seats away.

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಬಲೆಗಳು | Common Traps

  • ಒಳಮುಖ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಮುಖದ ನಡುವೆ ಎಡ ಬಲ ತಿರುಗುವುದನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವುದು. | Forgetting that left and right reverse between facing inwards and outwards.
  • ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಎಡ ಮತ್ತು ಎಡ ಎಂಬ ಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ಎಂದು ಓದುವುದು. | Reading immediate left and left as the same thing.
  • ಬೆಸ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರು ಸ್ಥಾನ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವುದು. | Assuming an opposite seat exists in an arrangement with an odd number of people.
  • ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಳಿವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವುದು. | Answering before every clue has been used.

ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಸಲಹೆ | Exam tip

ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸುಳಿವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ. | After completing the arrangement, verify every clue once more.

ಒಂದು ಸುಳಿವು ಹೊಂದದಿದ್ದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರವೇ ತಪ್ಪು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉತ್ತರಗಳೂ ತಪ್ಪಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. | If even one clue does not fit, the diagram is wrong and every answer will be wrong.
